Yuan Quan Town is located in the southeast of Bo Shan District, Zi Bo City, which is 23 kilometers away from the inner cities. It is connected with Zi He Town, Zi Chuan District to the north and to the east with North Bo Shan Town to the south and Chi Shang Town to the south. The whole town covers an area of 54 square kilometers governing 15 administrative villages with the total population of 16000. It is the center town approved by the Shan Dong Government and the first key town appointed by Development and Reform Commission and Construction Department. It is also the famous tourist town in Zi Bo City.
Yuan Quan lies the north of Lushan Mountain, which is one of the key national famous scenic spot entitled “Mini Gui Lin in the North”. 1.The natural environment: Chishang town which is located in the north of Lushan Mountain and covers an area of 151.6 square kilometers, is one of the key national scenic spot and state level protected area of water resources. The landscape of Chishang is famous for it’s perilous peak, clear water, dense forest and fat crab, especial stones that is the strangest in the world. There are many natural scenic spots, including 6 scenic are, 3 universe, 6 reservoirs and artificial lakes. The rate of forest coverage is 85%.
2.The human scenic spots and facilities: At present, Zhigongping scenic area has been initially built. It’s convenient for food, stay, tourism and recreation. There are many scenic spots, such as Zhigong temple, strange stones corridor, nine-heads cypress, Tianchi restaurant, yellow-flower mountain hotel and Yinhu spring. In addition, the historic sites of ‘Bo-Lai-Meng three counties’ Eighth-route army’s offices and Yanwenjiang Eight Trigrams pool are the important culture protected units of Zibo city.

Tested by state department of water quality, the spring, which is 150 meters underground, contains plenty of microelement, such as strontium, radon, etc. Especially, radon is called “spirit of mineral spring” and radon spring is also received as “nonesuch of spring”. In the document of Reconnaissance Report of Mineral Water in Zhang Jiatai Village Boshan District Zibo City Shandong Province submitted by Shandong Provincial Committee on Mineral Resources for Economic and Technological Research Center, it’s especially pointed out that the content of strontium and radon in the mineral water has reached to the concentration standard of Iatrical Quality Standard of Mineral Water and can be named as iatrical mineral water of strontium and radon with good quality, applying to iatrical bath.
